Position: Web Developer
Type: 40 Hours/Week (full-time with benefits)

Work Description:
This position requires a highly motivated and innovative individual
with 3-5 years of experience web development experience who
can support all phases of development life cycle. The individual
should be a self-starter who can perform as a technical lead
if necessary and should be effective working within a team.
Initially, the successful candidate will lead the migration
of our client’s web site to a Content Management System.
The candidate will have opportunity to expand in to user interface
design and web development using latest Open Source technologies.
Requirements:
• BS in Computer Science with at least three (3) years
of experience
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in web design
and development using HTML, XHTML, Java Script and CSS
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience of developing
on UNIX/Linux
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience with Perl
• Minimum of one (1) year experience with configuring web
servers preferably with Apache HTTPD
• Minimum of one (1) year experience with using relational
databases and SQL
• Excellent written, oral communication skills
• Experience in using XML related technologies including
XML Schema and XSL and experience using Java and Flash is a
definite plus
• Must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident
Desired Skills:
• Experience in setting up and using a web content management
system, preferable Plone
• Experience in using XML related technologies including
XML Schema and XSL
• Experience with web standards such as Section 508
• Experience with Java and Flash
• Familiarity with semantic web technologies
• Experience in a civilian government contracting environment
Other Skills:
• Superior communication skills – both written and
verbal – for interaction with prospects and customers.
• High level of drive and initiative; ability to deliver
with limited direction.
• Must be highly motivated, self-starter, results-oriented,
able to work independently or as part of a team
• Experience in developing and giving presentations helpful.
• Ability to learn client business quickly
