The science outreach coordinator will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all education and outreach related activities in support for NASA’s Operation IceBridge. This project is an airborne survey of Earth's polar ice. It will bridge the gap between NASA's Ice Cloud and Land Elevation Satellite (ICESat), which stopped collecting data in 2009, and ICESat-2, scheduled for launch in 2016.

    Job Requirements

    Job Duties

    • Plan and execute IceBridge presence at center and off-center outreach events, and at science meetings

    • Coordinate all IceBridge EPO activities with NASA’s Earth Science News team and the Cryospheric Sciences Branch at Goddard
