Based in Rockville, MD and founded in 1990, ADNET is a preeminent provider of quality and innovative science, engineering and information technology services to industry and state and federal government agencies nationwide. ADNET is a SBA-certified small business entity, an ISO 9001:2000 certified company and a CMMI Maturity Level 3. ADNET has been recognized for their outstanding service, including the 2008 Goddard Contractor Excellence Award for Small Business.
From it early days supporting the MU-SPIN contract, ADNET recognized the value was not in the contract itself, it was in the relationship formed. Now, ADNET supports GSFC's Code 600, the Office of Human Capital Management (OHCM) and the NASA Center for Computational Sciences (NCCS) at Goddard, Ames Research Center (ARC), Headquarters (HQ), and the NASA IV&V facility in West Virginia.

The Work Performed
Systems Administration
Telophase works extensively with Windows/Linux platforms. We provided Active Directory services where we manage the identities and relationships that make up network our customer's network environments. Our services include: 1) LDAP-like directory services 2) Kerberos-based authentication and 3) DNS-based naming.
Information Assurance
We worked with ADNET in driving their IT Security policies. Telophase adhere to policies that cost-effectively reduce information security risks to an acceptable level, and ensure that information security is addressed through the guidelines and polices of FISMA. Additionally, we assisted ADNET in their initial analysis. Collectively, we reviewed three important questions/factors: 1) Are the policies comprehensive enough? 2) Are the policies up-to-date? and 3) Are the policies being effectively delivered.
Web Portal Development
Designed flexible, scalable, standards-based CMS system for ADNET's NASA and DOT Internship Programs for creating, managing and deploying web applications. Solution provided a secure web portal managing hundreds of internship applications seamlessly integrated with the corporate website. We also developed design document identifying inputs based on requirement documents. Designed Section 508 compliant website optimizing existing content with usability testing to ensure information was organized and displayed in a way that enhances readability. Created custom content designed and developed ADNET's vision into dynamic online content, including custom copy, tools, graphics and other electronic communications.
The Results
- Allows ADNET to store all pertinent documents such as enrollment applications and other forms that may be needed on an ongoing basis.
